The Berenguer Group offers the following value added comprehensive services to supplement and enhance your employee’s benefit plans. The Berenguer Group shall:
- have a 24 hour hotline available to employer and its employees for service at all times,
- have multilingual staff available as needed.
- address to satisfaction any employers or employee concerns and/or problems related to insurance coverage.
- serve as the Employer’s and or employee’s advocate in carrier matters.
- be available at all times for enrollments and/or benefit orientation, and provide on-line enrollment options when available.
- schedule monthly orientations for qualified new employee enrollments.
- make available a plan summary of benefits/ handbook.
- make available to employer and its employees the services of our Legal Department for purposes of grievance handling and coordination. This service is to continue through the grievance process and any appeals to the insurance carrier, and if necessary to external peer review. This service does not include litigation, mediation or arbitration.
- ensure that all additions or deletions of employees and their dependents are handled in a prompt, accurate, and professional manner.
- efficiently obtain information necessary to prepare a proposal request or make plan changes in sometimes complex situations where significant time, skill, and expertise are required to organize employee benefits data.
- make available Wellness Programs to benefit both the Employer and employee.
- prepare sophisticated and creative cost saving comparisons with competing proposals.
- provide HIPAA compliant digital billing statements and employee census as available by carriers.
- provide HR support on compliance matters, such as access to online HR Library and monthly newsletter updates.
- analyze and update insurance coverage and claims experience at least every 6 months, and communicate an action plan to help control claims experience.
